गढ़ सवांगा के मकसद हे कि छत्तीसगढ़िया मन अपन जड़ ला जानयँ। जे माटी म हमन जनम लेन, जे रिती-रिवाज, तिहार, गीत अउ बोली हमन ला गढ़े हे — ओला भुलाय जाय नइ सकय। हमर संस्कृति ह सिरिफ गहना-पोशाक नइ, वो ह हमर जीवन के ढंग, हमर अपनापन के भावना आय।
छत्तीसगढ़ के तीज-तिहार मन जैसे हरेली, तीजा, पोरा, सुवा नाच, करमा गीत, मांदर ढोलक अउ दफड़ा के ताल – ए सबो ह हमर जीवन के खुशी के परछी आय। गढ़ सवांगा ह ए संस्कृति के संरक्षण अउ प्रचार के माध्यम बनना चाहत हे।
नवा पीढ़ी ह आज आधुनिकता के संगे-संग बढ़त हे, फेर अपन संस्कृति के जुड़ाव जरूरी हे। गढ़ सवांगा के माध्यम ले हमन चाहथन कि नवा पीढ़ी अपन पुरखौती कला, परिधान अउ परंपरा ला गरब के संगे अपनावय, जेकर ले “छत्तीसगढ़िया सबले बढ़िया” के बात सिरिफ नारा नइ, सिरतोन म अपन जीवन के हिस्सा बन जावय।
